Who are the AI Juggernauts?

If you haven't heard by now, ChatGPT has taken the internet by storm. In less than a week, people were talking about it on the streets of New York, sharing prompts on Tik Tok, and media companies were creating endless stories about the possibilities.

The truth is, the technology has been around for a couple of years. When I first read about GPT, it was in a paid MIT newsletter. I went on a hunt for information on YouTube and found about 10 relevant videos. Those 10 videos showed me everything I needed to know. AI is here to stay and it will shape how we live, work, play, interact, communicate, and so much more.

This isn't some tin foil hat "skynet" theory. While it's not out of the realm of possibility, we're not quite there yet in terms of creating a sentient being.

My first GPT3 software was Conversion AI, which has since gone through three name changes and is now called Jasper. It's powerful, but I feel like you can replicate its use fairly easily if you understand its templates and how to recreate them. That being said, I'm still a big fan and they are innovating quickly. I believe they have a valuation of over $1.5 billion.

I'm also hearing great things about Writesonic and I'll be providing a review of it shortly. What separates it from Chat GPT is that it actually connects to google, so it can reference current events and topics.

In just two years, one product using the power of GPT3 became a billion-dollar company.

What's next will blow it out of the water.

I plan to learn how to build on the OpenAI platform and share my research.

Simply put you need to use this tool. Next time you search for something, try using ChatGPT instead. You can sign up and create an account for FREE HERE.

AI Art Giant: Midjourney

While it's a little more complex to get started than I'd like, those familiar with Discord will love this platform for creating amazing artwork using just text prompts.

Think of it as your Fiverr graphic designer in your pocket. In fact, the tools available today make most Fiverr tasks irrelevant.

There are a ton of resources and forums online that breaks down the different use cases for this platform, as well as others like OpenAI's DALL-E and Stable Diffusion. Even Jasper, the AI copywriter, has gotten in on the action.

Throughout this series, you'll learn about more projects and tools that I and others are using that may be useful to you, with an occasional deep dive into how I'm using them.

Here's the prompt that got me this result: /imagine: a cartoon man wearing a Hawaiian shirt. His head looks like a lightbulb. Setting: beach bar

This is just a stupid quick example of how easy this is to use. There are creators who have seemed to break the code by getting fantastic with their prompts and creating some of the most remarkable images you could possibly imagine.

15-Second Dance Videos Pose a National Security Threat: Why Tik Tok may be banned by the US Government

US lawmakers have proposed a bipartisan bill that aims to ban TikTok in the US due to national security concerns. The bill would require the US government to issue a report on the national security risks posed by TikTok and would give the Secretary of Commerce the authority to prohibit the use of the app in the US. The bill has received support from both Democrats and Republicans and is expected to be introduced in the coming weeks.

AI-Powered Dentist Takes on Insurance Company to Secure Necessary Procedure for Patient

Here's a recent video I watched about how a dentist used AI to negotiate on behalf of his patient to approve a necessary operation that the insurance company was trying to deny. Every day, I'm seeing new and creative ways to use these tools. I'll be sharing a new one daily.

The Product I've Been Waiting on Access to for Over a Year

I've seen firsthand the power of technology to transform industries and change the way we work.

That's why I'm excited to introduce Debuild, a company that is leading the charge in the creation of an autonomous system that can write software at the level of the world's most skilled engineers.

With the rapid improvement of large language models, such as OpenAI's GPT-3, Debuild is poised to change the way software is developed. Model size and performance are doubling every 3.4 months, resulting in a 100x increase every 2 years. This growth rate is even faster than Moore's law, which dictated the rapid improvement of CPUs for much of computing history.

It's hard to predict what language models two years from now will be capable of, especially with a growth rate of 100x every two years. Debuild is at the forefront of this technology and is working towards discovering new tools that can augment our intellect and creativity.
